In Vinschgau's national park live plenty of chamois' and red deers. This fascinating theme walk offers the possibility to observe the wild game in its natural environment. Experienced guides decide which part of the park will be explored  - depending on where the wild game is currently grazing!

At the Sonnhöfl in Kastelbell kids and parents alike are invited to learn weaving and felting under the guidance of experienced weavers.

"Waale" is the term for ancient water channels, leading water to agricultural facilities. Together with famous author and photographer GIANNI BODINI you can explore these romantic channels surrounded by a particularly rich flora up to the archaeological excavation Ganglegg.

Red deer in rutting season >

In the Vinschgau Valley the rutting season of the red deer starts in autumn. In the Martell Valley guided tours are organized, giving visitors an insight into the deer's life.

Sports zone "Sport+Well" in Mals >

The "Sport+Well" centre in Mals is a treat for the whole family - in any season! You can refresh by swimming in the water, work on your service on the tennis court or spoil yourself in the SPA with a relaxing massage. In winter you can choose wether you'd rather warm yourself up in the Finnish sauna or in the bio sauna. You wouldn't need to, anyway, as both types of sauna are available at the Hotel St. Jakob too!
